Symmastia Bra

Symmastia Bra

Symmastia Bra

A Symmastia Bra provides sternum compression and helps maintain breast separation post surgery. Symmastia most commonly occurs following breast implant surgery, though it can also be a congenital condition. Symmastia causes breasts to sit close together and gives the appearance of merging. To prevent this and provide the right support to your chest following breast separation or implant surgery, you can wear a Symmastia Bra.

Use A Sternum Compression Bra For Post Breast Surgery Support

Sternum compression bras, like our Symmastia Bra, are important for post breast surgery recovery because they:

  • Maintain breast separation
  • Improve blood circulation - important for effective healing
  • Provide necessary compression - to reduce swelling and speed up healing

Features Of Our Symmastia Bra

The macom® Symmastia Bra has these beneficial features:

  • Medical-grade compression – to ensure effective healing
  • Super-soft material - made with LUXURA which has a cotton-like feel
  • Adjustable front and shoulder straps - to help you maintain the right fit as you recover

Symmastia Bra Advice & Tips

We recommended ordering multiple Symmastia Bras. It is vital to keep incision marks clean and being able to wear one bra while the other is being washed means you always have a clean, supportive post surgery Symmastia Bra on.

Try your Symmastia Bra on immediately upon receipt and prior to surgery.

Sternum Compression Bra Sizing

There is no need to measure when choosing your Sternum Compression Bra. Order based on your current bra size: X-SMALL (28 - 30), SMALL (32), MEDIUM (34), LARGE (36), X-LARGE (38), XX-LARGE (40).

Important Note:

If you don't know your bra size then you need to measure yourself under the bust and add 2 inches to the total, that will be your size in the macom® bras. e.g. If you measure 34.5, adding 2 inches you will be 36.5, round up to 36 - your size is Large in the macom® bras.
